Father & Son

Kyle is a huge book lover. When daddy is home, he likes to read bedtime stories to the kids. He and Kyle were on the floor the other night when I got this picture. My 2 little boys! I am very blessed to have a "hands on" daddy who likes to get involved. Steve will also roll around the floor with the kids and of course get them wound up before bedtime. Best of all, he helps me out when he is home. Thanks Honey! Remember, it's not babysitting when you're the daddy! :-)

This picture reminds me of my dad. I can still remember him giving my brother and I "horsey rides" in our Kirkland home just like Steve is doing here. These are the best family moments/memories!

Over the hills and through the Woods to Grandmother's House we Go!

I was in the closet the other night and I was getting out this big suitcase to see if the kids' pac n plays would fit in there. We are traveling to my parents house a week from this Friday. We are going to need something for the kids to sleep in. So Brooke goes over, grabs the carry on suitcase and starts wheeling it around the house. I ask her if she's ready to go to Grammy and Pop Pops and she says "yes." I couldn't resist taking a picture of it. Little does she know how early we are going to have to get up that morning. EEKS! Like 3:30am! Oh well, we'll just have to nap when we get there. Not like we'll be sleeping on the plane with 2 kids in our laps. This will be our last trip where they can do that. They are quickly approaching 2 years old. I can not belive it!!

Easter Bunny

We were up at Victoria Gardens the other night and at the last minute, I decided to have the kids sit on the Easter Bunny's lap. There was NO one in sight and he was just sitting there bored. He was leaning over the wall, waving at the kids and the kids were waving back. They even blew him kisses. I convinced Steve to have us take the kids up there before we went over to the Adoption Options meeting. The were still happy once we got up there, but once I placed Kyle on the bunny's lap, he had a total melt down and wanted out of there and FAST!!! I told the gal to snap the picture. I still think it's cute and in years to come, Kyle will hate the fact that he cried but that was the moment. I'll post more pictures of Easter but it's not here yet. Once the Easter Bunny comes, I'll post pixs of them finding their baskets.
